Amy Joseph Coles is a member of the Trial Practice Group who practices primarily in the areas of general commercial litigation, construction litigation, complex civil litigation and class action defense work. Ms. Coles has handled a wide range of litigation disputes for construction owners, contractors, subcontractors and material suppliers. She has also represented banks, financial services providers, healthcare corporations and pharmaceutical companies in both state and federal cases.
Ms. Coles has been recognized by her peers as a Pennsylvania Rising Star in 2007, 2008 and 2010.
Ms. Coles is a 2002 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was managing editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce, and a cum laude graduate of Allegheny College. She served as judicial law clerk for the Hon. Gary L. Lancaster of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
