Beverly Reyes practices in the area of executive compensation with a focus on corporate governance and securities law issues. Ms. Reyes advises clients on the preparation of registration statements under the Securities Act of 1933; the preparation of reports under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, including proxy statements; and issues arising under state and federal laws with respect to shareholder proposals. She works with companies, boards of directors and board committees on the requirements of the Dodd-Frank Act and related SEC and New York Stock Exchange rules and regulations. Ms. Reyes has drafted corporate governance guidelines, committee charters and other governance-related policies, as well as charter and bylaw amendments and indemnification agreements.
Ms. Reyes is a 2005 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, where she was articles editor of the Law Review, and a graduate of Cornell University.
