Charles B. Shields, Jr. ("Chuck") represents high net worth families and businesses, LGBT couples and nontraditional families, U.S. residents and non-resident aliens and publicly-traded and privately-held companies. He frequently counsels clients on strategies to protect wealth and reduce exposure to income tax and transfer taxes, as well as the successful transfer of a family business. In addition, he also represents personal representatives and trustees in the administration of trusts and estates.

His practice also involves advising closely-held companies and public corporations on federal, state and local tax issues as well as non-tax issues, from the formation of the business to the ultimate disposition of the business.

Mr. Shields is admitted to practice in Florida and is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Law and a graduate of the University of Florida. He is a member of Duane Morris' Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
