James J. Holman practices in the areas of commercial finance law, business reorganization, business and municipal insolvency, and complex asset planning. He represents institutional lenders, trust companies, insurance companies and businesses in a broad spectrum of transactions, including corporate finance, asset sales and planning structures, business restructuring and bankruptcy. He also provides advice on matters affecting wealth and asset planning for high net worth individuals.
Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York, he is a member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Delaware State Bar Association, the Commercial Finance Association Education Foundation, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Mr. Holman was hiring partner for the firm from 2001 through 2006, and has been an active member of the firm's Recruitment and Retention Committee since 1994.
Mr. Holman is a 1989 graduate of Villanova University School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the Villanova Law Review, and a summa cum laude graduate of DeSales University.

- Represent Principal Life Insurance Company, as secured lender in restructuring of shopping mall loan facilities in chapter 11 proceedings of General Growth Properties (SDNY).
- Represent UBS Ag Stamford as Agent for Bank Group in valuation, sale, and chapter 11 reorganization proceedings of Nellson Nutraceuticals, Inc. (D. Del.).
- Represent principal and majority equity interest holder of major mid-western golf course facilities and real estate projects in reorganization proceedings of Cordillera Golf Club, LLC.
- Represent Wells Fargo National Bank in negotiation, documentation, and implementation of asset based lending facilities extended to retailer Five Below, Inc.
- Represent Wells Fargo National Bank in negotiation and documentation of credit facilities for national trucking and transportation group, Unified Logistics Holdings, Inc. and affiliates.
- Represent Citizens Bank, N.A. in workout and restructuring matters associated with gaming and casino borrower Philadelphia Entertainment and Development Partners.
