Jonathan A. Olick practices in the area of corporate law with a focus on finance transactions. Mr. Olick is one of the nation’s leading attorneys in the area of public-private partnership (PPP) financing, with a particular emphasis on credit-lease financing of U.S. Government-leased properties, including representing investment banks, placement agents and other financial institutions in construction and permanent financing of properties leased to federal, state and local governments and government agencies; universities, hospitals and commercial and retail tenants.
Mr. Olick also represents underwriters, lenders, developers and borrowers in a wide variety of structured finance transactions, including credit-tenant, synthetic-lease and sale/leaseback transactions. He regularly represents private lenders and investors, including insurance companies and pension funds, in credit-lease and general corporate debt transactions.
A member of the New York State Bar Association and The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, Mr. Olick is a 1987 graduate of the Emory University School of Law and a graduate of Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences.
