Larry Selander practices in the areas of litigation and corporate law. In his litigation practice, Mr. Selander emphasizes commercial, construction, securities and environmental litigation for a broad range of clients. In the field of corporate law, Mr. Selander has worked on mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property matters.
Mr. Selander's active business practice focuses on problem solving for corporate managers, with particular focus on contract disputes, human resource issues, internal investigations and regulatory questions. He has managed the sale of many businesses and business units and also has hands-on experience in corporate management, having served as the co-CEO of a startup international entertainment business.
Mr. Selander has authored articles in various fields of practice, including a chapter in the Design Professional's Handbook of Business and Law and "Simplifying Complex Concepts for a Lay Finder of Fact" for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education. He has lectured for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education and taught for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. He has also served as an adjunct professor at the Northwestern University School of Law.
A member of the Chicago, Illinois State and American bar associations, Mr. Selander is a 1972 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.S., Chemical Engineering).
