Moreshwar B. Vaze, Ph.D. is a technical advisor for Duane Morris' Intellectual Property Practice Group. Dr. Vaze assists attorneys with the prosecution of patent and trademark applications, particularly in the area of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Vaze has a diverse scientific background with theoretical and experimental expertise in oncology, RNAi, microbiology, genetics, molecular biology and biochemistry, biologic and small molecule drug discovery. He has nearly a decade of experience working in startup and small biotech companies, and has co-authored 13 papers and two patent applications.

Dr. Vaze earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India. He holds an M.S. in biotechnology, first rank, from Madurai Kamaraj University in India and a B.S. in microbiology, first rank, from the University of Pune, India.
