Patricia H. Heer practices in the area of business reorganization, financial restructuring and creditors' rights. She has represented all constituencies in and prior to bankruptcy proceedings, including debtors, lenders, creditors, lessors and entities acquiring assets of troubled companies. Her experience in the intricacies of bankruptcy and restructuring matters spans across a wide range of industries.

Ms. Heer also has experience in representing insurers as counsel in directors and officers insurance and financial institutions matters, having represented insurers of global financial institutions in coverage disputes arising from securities class actions, major financial schemes and regulatory investigations.

Ms. Heer previously served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Grossman of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Ms. Heer is a 2006 graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, where she was Research Editor for the Hofstra Law Review, and a graduate of St. John's University (B.A., summa cum laude). She is fluent in Polish.

• Represented an affiliate of Sleepy's LLC in its winning bid to acquire 100% of the membership interests in Mattress Discounters Group, LLC, an 80-store mattress chain in Virginia, for $11.9 million.
