Mr. Ebling is a 1986 cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School and a graduate of Stanford University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Representative Matters
- Represented owner/user in four-phase world headquarters development and financing in Foster City, Calif., for a Fortune 100 company.
- Represented investment management member in joint-venture acquisition and development of a 400,000 square foot office tower (under construction) as part of public-private mixed-use development inside the Chicago Loop.
- Represented investment management member in $4.4 billion loan transaction to finance acquisition of $5.4 billion multifamily asset in Manhattan, New York City. Representation included building flexibility into loan documents to permit major equity infusion in the future.
- Represented buyer/borrower in $500 million acquisition of 200,000 acres of forest land in Humboldt County, Calif., out of bankruptcy, including negotiation of a $375 million acquisition credit facility.
- Represented hospitality company in $300 million joint-venture acquisition of major luxury hotel in Maui, Hawaii, utilizing "mixing bowl" partnership structure.
