Susan Schwochau practices in the areas of appellate and commercial litigation. She has particular experience in administrative law, class action litigation, gaming law, insurance coverage, professional liability, telecommunications, electric regulation and election law.
Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Schwochau served as judicial clerk to the Honorable Carolyn Dineen King, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Ms. Schwochau is a 1999 graduate, with highest distinction, of the University of Iowa College of Law, where she was editor in chief of the Iowa Law Review and elected to the Order of the Coif, and a graduate of the University of Illinois (Ph.D., A.M., Industrial and Labor Relations) and the University of Minnesota (B.S., with honors).
