Tim E. Braue practices in the areas of corporate and securities law. Mr. Braue represents public and private companies, venture capital investors and private equity funds. He frequently represents clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions transactions, public and private securities offerings and general corporate matters. Mr. Braue's clients have included emerging pharmaceutical and medical-device businesses, high-tech and telecommunications companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and manufacturing and real estate development firms.
Prior to returning to private practice, Mr. Braue served in high-level positions in both the federal government and Maryland state government. He served in the White House as Deputy Associate Director of Presidential Personnel, was appointed by President George W. Bush as Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General in the Department of Justice, and was named Deputy Secretary of Appointments by Maryland Governor, Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr.
Admitted to practice in Maryland, Mr. Braue is a 1997 cum laude graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law and a graduate of St. Mary's College of Maryland.
