Duane Morris Partner Andrew Hahn Receives NYC Bar's Diversity Champion Award
NEW YORK, May 16, 2011—Duane Morris LLP partner Andrew T. Hahn has been selected by the New York City Bar Association (City Bar) to receive one of its Sixth Annual Diversity Champion Awards. The honor recognizes the key role individual attorneys have played in initiating and sustaining change within their organizations and the overall New York legal community. Award recipients embody City Bar's Statement of Diversity Principles, which defines diversity as an inclusive concept. Hahn will be presented the award on May 24, 2011, during a luncheon at the City Bar in New York.
Hahn, a partner in the New York office of Duane Morris, focuses his practice on commercial litigation matters involving contract disputes, including franchising; insurance; commercial leases; banking; employment; software licensing matters; and other corporate disputes. He also handles complex litigation, such as class actions relating to products liability and toxic torts; securities; and antitrust. Hahn has experience in government contracts, intellectual property, bankruptcy and banking litigation and matters involving complex technology.
Hahn is a former president of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association of New York. He is a board member of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York, and received the association's Trailblazer's Award in 2008. Hahn is also certified as a neutral for the American Arbitration Association. He is a graduate of Cornell Law School as well as a graduate of Cornell University.
