John J. Sroka directs the firm's Information Services Department overseeing all aspects of our technology-related initiatives, including practice support, Web development, help desk, training, telecommunications and network services. John is an information technology professional with 30 years of experience in law and professional service firms, insurance operations, strategic and tactical planning, systems design and project management. In 2007, John was named "IT Director of the Year" by Law Technology News' 5th Annual Law Technology News Awards. He is a former vice president of strategic consulting and business development of a national professional services company. During the last 25 years, John has directed the technology departments of four major law firms. In addition, John is a former president, treasurer and Systems Technology Committee chair of the Association of Legal Administrators - Philadelphia Chapter. John is a frequent speaker at LegalTech, International Legal Technology Association and other industry events, including representing U.S. law firms at a Legal Technology conference in Brazil in 2008. He was recently published by Aspatore in the book Maximizing Your Technology Efforts – Leading CTOs and CIOs on Getting the Most from Your Budget, Leveraging External Partners, and Evaluating Effectiveness. Currently, John serves on several key vendor advisory boards.
