Duane Morris offers associates training, mentoring and practice opportunities that allow them to immediately begin advancing their careers.

Practice Opportunities

At Duane Morris, new associates are assigned to cases and work directly under the supervision of the partners involved. The Duane Morris Pro Bono program, designed to provide free legal services to those least able to afford them, gives associates the opportunity to manage cases early in their careers. Since its inception, associates have gained valuable corporate counseling, immigration and trial experience assisting low-income entrepreneurs, asylum applicants and children. In its inaugural year, an associate received the Duane Morris Pro Bono Award.

Additionally, associates are encouraged to collaborate with partners on articles for legal journals and other publications. Writing articles enhances our lawyers' understanding of the law and helps to advance their stature in the legal and business communities. seminars and panel presentations for current and prospective clients as well as professional organizations and community groups. Many associates take the opportunity to enhance their public speaking skills by working with communications professionals before their presentations.
